Kerry's surgery free of complications

Fourterm Massachusetts senator John Kerry underwent a 45minute outpatient repair of a torn subscapularis tendon and adjacent bicep, with no major complications. He will rest this week but plans to resume campaigning, though with limited rightarm use and painmanagement as he recovers.
