Communists' Ohio Convention Remarks Reported by FBI Informant
Witness William Cummings testified that William Foster warned that if America and Russia fought, Russia would occupy Europe and Asia. He cited Foster’s Cleveland remarks from 1948 and noted security concerns leading to a major party membership purge. The testimony covered plans for Youth for Wallace clubs, a 10 000 member drive, and regional goals including New York 4000 and California 700.
