Washington reports the Truman administration aims to push an arms for Europe program through Congress without jeopardizing the Atlantic Pact. A $100 million revolving credit would finance Latin American orders via the National Defense Establishment, with contracts up to that cap handled on payment and not altering the pact’s overall $1.45 billion appropriation for eight European signers and other nations including Greece Turkey and Korea.
