Emma Miller of Lake Local School Hartville is named national girls marble champion after returning home with District Ministers and Canton Stark entrants from the national tournament in Asbury Park New Jersey. Berlin June 25 AP The western commanders ordered 14 000 Berlin rail strikers back to work with full West mark wages and warned unemployment relief would stop if not returned by Tuesday. Mayor Reuter said settlement likely on command plan. Strikers total 14 000, cost 109 100 dollars weekly in relief, full wage guarantees to keep them in West marks.
Stark County residents must reach 2.1 million in Series E bonds by Thursday to close the Opportunity Bond Drive. As of June 18 the drive was 81.6 percent complete with 1,714,629 sold and 385,371 remaining. Bonds offered through banks post offices and payroll plans.
