Timken's 57 Acre Recreation Park In Use Near Canton Plant
Timken Roller Bearing Co announces a large open air recreation program at a 57 acre site on Navarre road near Gambrinus plant. The facility includes a base ball field, four softball fields, tennis courts, horseshoe courts, a kids playground, and a Little League setup. The plan features night lighting, future lake fishing and ice skating in winter, plus a proposed recreation building with 12 bowling alleys and a double gym. The program aims to serve 11,000 employees and families with activities for children and adults and may expand to other Timken sites.
