County Marks Up Traffic Death Drop in May
May reports show Stark County roads had one death, breaking a 121 day death-free run in the city. County and city tallies include 15 and 1 deaths respectively, with 338 and 290 accidents and 156 and 50 injuries. Deputies made 139 motorist arrests. the city 248. Massillon remained the county’s safest city with nine fatalities in 1948.
