Traffic Court sentences drivers with prior convictions
Five motorists with previous driving offenses within the last year were jailed two days each at Friday's traffic court. Judge Burris fined 48 motorists a total of 737 dollars with costs of 292.70, totaling 1,029.70. Numerous individuals from Sandyville to Louisville faced fines and suspended driving rights for charges including driving under the influence, reckless driving, stop signs, faulty brakes, and unpermitted operation.

The Fairmount Children's Home band kicks off its first summer season with a 2:45 p m concert on the home front lawn directed by Charles P George. The program includes marches waltzes and popular tunes ending with the Star Spangled Banner. Petition by Burt Carson Lynch and Vogel gesang alleges Martinko's car was struck on Route 62 at Route 44 junction by Wise owned truck. He was hospitalized 57 days and suffers permanent injuries.
