Ford Tractor Plant Boosts Detroit District Growth
Henry Ford predicts rapid expansion as plans emerge for Ford Tractor Plant and two Ford Blast Furnaces on River Rouge. The district, near Orchard Park, is expected to lure 15 industrial plants, with capital outlay around $10 million for density buildings and docks. Lots adjacent to the projects rise in value. 35 and 40 foot plots now near $500 to $1000, with easy terms offered to attract investment.
