School District Boundaries Likely to Change Around Alma

Local boards consider redrawing School District No. 1 of Phi River and Arcada to include land between Fitzgerald road and the eastern limit. Plans propose dropping portions of Arcada and Pine River townships to form a more compact district, aligning with surrounding areas and easing future administration. The Avenda, Pine River, Arcada, and St. Lottie districts are involved in talks to straighten boundaries and possibly acquire the new site for a school.
