Reservoir Work Expands City Water Tank Capacity
The planned concrete reservoir for the pure water system near Waterworks park will be about 200 000 gallons larger than first planned. Sand under the surface requires extending the excavation depth three feet six inches to provide a solid foundation, increasing capacity by roughly one fifth.
