Vorhees Sues Nelson Over Judgment For Damages
The case of Peter Vorhees against F. W. Hooper Clint Nelson and Ezra Smith ended Saturday after eight days in court. Judge Sears cleared Smith and Hooper of involvement, leaving it to the jury to decide if Vorhees could obtain judgment from Nelson. The jury, after two hours, awarded Vorhees 2062.14 dollars plus 5 percent interest from payment date.
