Mr Reed of Michigan Agricultural College visited the county to support Y M C A agricultural contests. Preliminary rounds span five areas with Pompei Middleton Ithaca Alma and St Louis hosting, prizes awarded locally then at the county exhibit. Eligible youths aged twelve to eighteen urged to enter and information available at the Ithaca Y M C A office. Plans to expand Y M C A to Wheeler Ashley Pompeii Middleton noted. An Ithaca sixth seventh grade athletic contest saw the seventh grade win narrowly. North Star boys baseball beat Ithaca hops 21 to 4 with a rematch planned.
