The May Festival at Alma College will run Tuesday and Wednesday May 12 and 13, featuring The Rose Maiden with Charles R. Hargreaves as tenor and Harriet McGreaham in contralto. Grace D. Odd Fellows bid farewell to longtime member E G Alverson
The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs hosted a banquet at the Odd Fellow Temple for E G Alverson before his move to Frisco Utah to live with his son Earl. About 75 attendees heard tributes to his 44 years as an Odd Fellow and his role as a charter member of lodge No 238. He was born in Royalton Ohio eighty years ago and spent most of his life in Michigan and Alma.
