Lightning struck the Nathan Knight residence two miles south and a quarter mile west of Ithaca last Thursday, setting the house ablaze. Mr and Mrs Knight were inside but discovered the fire when Knight checked doors. Only part of the household goods were saved. Insurance covers 600 on the house and 00 on furniture. total loss above insurance estimated between 1 200 and 1 600.
