Prof W B Hanson will resign as superintendent of our public schools to accept the Mauteuque school board’s offer next year. Alma and Macallyn boards had offered higher salaries, but Alma raised pay to keep him. Macallyn offered still more. Hanson, Albion graduate in 19 , has long served since teacher training at U of M summer school 101. He held life certificate since 1901 and earlier taught Henrietta. He led University of Michigan approved list placements in Gratiot county during three years as superintendent.
