Legalizing Violence In State Labor Disputes Debate
A strong editorial denounces petitions to amend the state constitution to strip courts of power to issue injunctions in labor disputes. It warns such changes threaten property rights, invite disorder, and harm all citizens through broader, radical class legislation and disrupted payrolls. It argues organized labor risks weaponizing legal restraints against manufacturers and cautions against opening the door to widespread destruction.
