Local woman dies by own action at home
Mrs Israel Yerian of 3 Weight avenue took her own life by asphyxiation after weeks of illness. Her husband found her seated in a chair when he returned from work Monday evening. She had opened the eight burners of the kitchen range, leaving no sign of struggle. She was a daughter of Mr and Mrs Theron A Johnson of Pine River township and had lived in the city most of her life. She married J M Yerian in 1911 and had recently resided on Wright avenue. Funeral services were held at her home shortly after noon today.
