Steers Sold For 4200 By Sandell And Gee
Sandell and Gee, stock buyers, paid 4200 dollars for 42 head of steers from Francis Kellogg of Newark township, about one hundred dollars per head. The cattle were shipped last week to eastern markets and hailed as one of the finest lots of beef cattle ever sent from this region.

City Board Raises Real Estate Valuation Across Four Wards
The Board of Review adjourned with Parrish Russell Sullivan and a fel man guiding ward supervisors aided by two State Tax Commission members. Real estate values rose across all wards, First Ward up 72.02 percent, Second Ward with Sugar Factory adjustment, Third and Fourth wards showing strong increases. Death of Mrs Corilla Quick Dunlap in Alma Michigan
Corilla Quick Dunlap born September 17 1843 in Garland county Michigan died Monday evening June 1 at Alma Michigan. She married David F Dunlap in 1858 and lived in South Lyon Pine River Forest Hill area before moving to Alma in 1900 after her husband died. Her poor health began with a bronchial pneumonia in March. Funeral services will be held this afternoon from the River Avenue residence conducted by Rev J W Priest with Miss Harriett McGreeham providing music. She leaves two brothers and a daughter Miss Cora Dunlap.

Pere Marquette Summer Schedule Change Ahead
