Eleventh Annual Commencement at Alma College
The Alma College chapel hosted the 11th annual commencement with a baccalaureate sermon by President Bruske and choir performances. The program featured class day exercises, a humorous play, and remarks by professors Mitchell Davis and J. T. Ewing. The Commercial Department graduates were Augusta Blumke, B. Roberta Shephard, Norman B. Coan, Taraes B. Gargett Jr., and Rogal M Hyde. Sunday through Tuesday highlighted concerts, solos, and essays. The event concluded with a celebration of labor and education themes emphasizing self-reliance and practical schooling.
