Alma class celebrates commencement and a loyal address
The Alma Public Schools mark the 12th annual commencement with a high spirited program at the opera house. Graduating exercises feature an eloquent address by a local student, music by the mixed chorus and girls’ choir, and a valedictory praised as the best of the evening. A presentation chair honors Supt. Ely, who resigns, as the Alma board thanks him for his service. The event closes with the chorus “Heaven and Earth Display” and a large alumni banquet at the Wright House.
