The forty seventh state sanitary convention met in the Alma opera house for two days of lectures and discussions on disease control, sanitation, and school health. Highlights included Dr. Stiles Kennedy on consumption prevention, Frnk Wells and Frank Wells on public health goals, and talks on sanitation, disinfection, and public milk safety with calls for better attendance by local residents.
