The Hagenback-Wallace Circus appeared in Alma Tuesday with a surprisingly small crowd, likely the least in fifteen years, due to tough yearlong business and weather effects. Attendees praised the acts, especially the wild animals, while Fourth of July plans for Alma remain unsettled and volunteers urged early committee formation. Mary Tola, the 9 year old daughter of Mr and Mrs J B Groaskopf, underwent appendectomy at Cagney hospital Wednesday evening.

Well Water in City Mains After Tank Completion
