The Alma Merchants Bureau launched summer free vaudeville on city streets every Wednesday, followed by a street dance with a 10 piece orchestra. Voted Against the Resolutions at City Meeting
At a Saturday special meeting of the city commission a heated debate arose over issuing special assessment bonds for paving North Woodsworth avenue W Downie street and West End street. Commissioner Creager opposed the process, arguing the charter and public vote might be required.
