Alma City Commission Grants Carnival Permit to American Legion
At the June 1 1920 meeting in Alma officials granted permission for Wade May and Wade Company to run a carnival in Alma from June to July 1920 under American Legion auspices. Residents on Kirk Avenue and Center Street sought street wrinkling but petitions were not in free form, so no action. City Clerk Jessie Wolford noted routine May police report and adjourned. Strand vaudeville ad closes the item.
