The Panhandle rides a high dry plateau with rich pastures and large cattle herds along with water wells and fertile crops including wheat Kaffir corn milo and alfalfa. The writer extols mild malaria free climate and robust health benefits, praising sparse humidity and reliable water depths while noting abundant rainfall during growing season and favorable stock markets in Kansas City and Fort Worth.
