A pretty wedding was solemnized Thursday June 24 at 4 p.m. at the home of Mr. Frederick W. Hooper, 314 Philadelphia avenue, when his youngest daughter Anna Ruth Hooper married Dr. William W. Mitchell of Charlevoix. Officiating was Dr. J. Frank Jackson of St. John’s Episcopal church. Attendant was Misa dean Van Pelt Hatch of Springfield, Ohio. best man Earl Coleman of Detroit. The bride wore Victoria taffeta with tulle and carried Ophe roses and swansonia. bridesmaid wore pale raspberry Georgette with daisies. Decorations featured ferns, white peonies and daisies. Guests traveled from Milwaukee, Springfield Ohio, Charlevoix, Alpena, Pontiac, Ann Arbor, Charlevoix, Detroit, Madison Wis. The couple will live in Charlevoix after August 1.
