County Jail Raid Sparks Wild New Year Banquet Scene
A mob of about twenty men and women seized the county jail on New Year’s Day, forcing Sheriff McCullough and family to surrender. They rioted in the residence area, then fed on a banquet served by Mrs. McCullough, leaving vegetables and two game chickens as souvenirs. The group traveled by train from the union depot to Ithaca.

Visitors Days At Alma Sugar Factory Draw Record Crowd
