Oratorical Contest Set for College Chapel on January 15

Asti Wall Board Co to Close LMA Plant
Asti Wall Board Plant will close this month and remain shut temporarily with plans to resume about April 1. George Bishopric, the superintendent, has improved the business since reorganizing two years ago. The firm sold rights to use refuse lime to T. C. Judkins of California who, with Fred Bader of Fresno, has purchased the machinery and leased the drying plant. Bishopric will move to Cincinnati to head a new factory, and he has designed a roofing and wall board suited product with patents and aims to form a new company. Bishopric and family will depart Alma for a winter home this month.

Alma Post Office Hours Set for Holiday Week
Alma Mich December 19 1921 post office announces extended hours to handle heavy mail. Carrier window will stay open 7 00 to 8 00 Saturday evening while General Delivery and Register windows on Sunday 9 00 to 10 00 and Christmas Day December 25 10 30 to 11 20 am. City carriers will do one morning delivery and rural routes operate as usual. Mail clerks will ride Ann Arbor trains 51 and mail dispatched from Alma P to these trains.
