Death of Miss Lillie Murray at Ithaca
Miss Lillie Murray aged 50 of Ithaca died Friday December 14 after a hernia operation. Daughter of George and Jane Murray both deceased, she had lived at home since childhood. Services were held at the residence Saturday afternoon and interment followed in South Lyons beside her parents.

John Bailey Dies at North Star Township Home
John Bailey, an elderly resident of North Star township, died at his home on Monday December 15. Funeral services are scheduled for December 18 at the family residence with burial to follow in the local cemetery.

Elita Andrews Dead After Long Illness at 67
Elita Andrews Godley widow of Andrew B Godley died Tuesday night December 9 1815 aged 67 years nine days in Lafayette township Gratiot county Michigan. Born November 30 1744 in Lincolnshire England she came to New York with her parents as a child and was part of a large family surviving husband Cornie Benson and Charles W in Lafayette township two daughters and three sons four others predeceased. She joined Second Presbyterian Church of Lafayette in 1686 and formerly belonged to Edgewood Rebekah Lodge. Funeral services were held December 11 at the Lafayette Presbyterian church officiated by Reverend Durfey of Ithaca with interment at Ithaca.

Methodist Sunday School Board Holds Annual Meeting and Elections
The Methodist Sunday School Board met at Pastor Rev. T. G. R. Brownlow's home for its yearly business and officer elections. Attendance totaled 9055 for 1913 to date with an average of 182, last quarter at 206, and year total collections $202.75 averaging $4.13. New officers include Superintendent Carl H. Washburn, Assistant Superintendents WW. M. McCurdy and Howard L. Holmes, Secretary Donald Smith, Treasurer Allen S. Bergy, and department heads Edith Hooper and Mrs. Brownlow. A luncheon followed with social time and piano music led by Mrs. Brownlow.

Ithaca Lodge Hosts Large Banquet and Initiation
The C F Lodge hosted a five hundred guest event last Thursday in Ithaca. Eleven candidates received the first degree, with toastmaster Fred Griswold calling on M R Salter and Grand officers Thompson Rogers and Gray to offer toasts. A school of instruction followed at Brown's Hall, and Past Master degrees were conferred on eighteen Past Grands from Gratiot county. Guests included representatives from eighteen Michigan lodges, two Illinois lodges, and one each from Indiana and Ohio.

Choral Club Concert Delights Alma Audience
A large crowd filled the college chapel for the Choral Club concert featuring choruses from Faust and La Traviata, solos by Miss Fuller and Mr. Fannell, and a Rose Maiden trio.
