Elevator accident awards 3000 to Mrs Fafty
In San Diego a superior court jury awarded $3000 to Mrs. Cora Fafty after more than an hour deliberation. She sued Alfred Stahel & Sons for 12500 for injuries when an elevator rose from the sidewalk in front of the Stahel store at Fifth and C streets and knocked her down. Attorney Adam Thompson represented the plaintiff and Gordon Gray the defendant. Mrs Faity was formerly a resident of Alma.

Big Odd Fellows Supper at Riverdale Game Feed
The Riverdale Odd Fellows annual supper on Monday December 1 1912 drew the largest crowd yet and was a social success. Captains James Schuepp and Gert Osborn led high scoring teams, with Jim narrowly beating his opponent by about 40 points.
