Pleasant Alma reception ends with civic cheer
Alma residents and neighboring farmers gathered at the Wright House for a three hour reception honoring Mr. and Mrs A W Wright. Guests met in the parlors, enjoyed a bountiful repast, and heard reminiscences from Mr Wright. A mandolin orchestra provided music as the couple departed atop a fire wagon amid cheers and a generous display of gifts. The bride Miss Rose Schofield and groom Walter Keeney will honeymoon in Detroit before settling in Alma.
