Circus Arrival and Parade Route Planned for Alma
Forepaugh and Sella Bros Circus will arrive about five in the morning at the Ann Arbor crossing on Superior Street. The town council approved a parade route from Orchard to Wright to Superior to State to Center to Water to Superior to State then north to the show grounds. The Record published the plan after consulting Mr Peter Sells in Petoskey, aiming for maximum spectator view with no recrossing.

Go red by a bull injures Sumner township supervisor
Ellis Potter, supervisor of Sumner township, was badly injured last Wednesday evening when a bull charged him in a field as he attempted to drive cattle to the barn. The bull had been deburred, reducing the severity of the goring. Dr. McLachlain of Elwell treated Potter’s injuries, and no serious consequences are expected.
