Narrow escape for Alma boy as bicycle hit by car
Lawrence Robinson ten, from Alma, barely avoided serious injury after jumping from his bicycle when W D Markham's westbound car struck it at East Superior street near Strand theatre. The smashed bike lay under the fender as the car halted. Markham offered to pay for repairs. Ben Carter of Pontiac, visiting Gilbert Greenlo, was slightly injured when struck by Ernest Hudson's automobile near Superior and State. Carter dragged by the vehicle before it stopped, clothing torn, minor bruises.
