Endowment Plans At Alma College For 100000 Dollar Increase
The endowment committee met in Saginaw with Mr. Hateh of Chicago and members Dr. Blaisdell Mr. Sharp and Mr. Tanner. They outlined plans to raise an additional 100000 dollars and accepted the Presbyterian College Board offer to send a secretary to Michigan for thirty thousand dollars for biblical literature and religious training. The October annual meeting will formally announce the endowment increase and the secretary will recruit wealthy support in the state for at least two weeks. Alma will receive notable assistance.

WLOVE 10 Alma M. L. Perrigo, Studebaker representative, sold five new cars and three used cars between Saturday evening and Wednesday afternoon. He traveled to Detroit, returned with the five new cars, and delivered them to owners. He plans to move his family to Alma around August 16 and take possession of his West Centre street property. His Forest Hill implement and hardware business and real estate were sold to Nelson and Hayes with possession due November. Perrigo, who began in Forest Hill in 1900, aims to open an auto salesroom in Alma.
