Last Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Laycock of Arcada township, Bessie Laycock married Mr. J A Roof of Ashley. Only immediate family attended, with Rev. J. W. Priest pronouncing the vows. A wedding dinner followed before the couple left on the 1:32 train for Grand Rapids and then Phoenix, Arizona, where Mr. Roof will work.
