Wreck on Interurak: Alma Man Narrowly Escapes Collision

George Gargett of Alma survived a deadly D. J. & C. line electric car crash seven miles east of Ann Arbor after a collision caused by missed orders. Mrs Arbella Scott of Fremont directed festive decorations featuring hollyhocks and a May-pole of morning glories. The second floor showcased oak leaves and Japanese lanterns with light refreshments served in the carpet room. An orchestra led by Miss Lennebelle Canfield provided music throughout the events. Mrs Scott, Mr Gardner of Saginaw, and Mrs Carl Walters assisted with the opening.
