Five Years for Elwell Thief Sentenced at Jackson Prison

Cyrus Rittenh van Ithaca, last from Benton Harbor, pled guilty to stealing an overcoat and watch from Theodore Grehoe and money from Mamie Wynne, a boarder at Greenhoes between Elwell and Riverdale. He was arraigned before Judge Sears, sentenced to five years with hard labor at Jackson Prison, with a two year recommendation. Sheriff Newell Bradford transported him to Jackson on Monday.
