Improved Fire Alarm System Installed in City
Alma Grain and Lumber Co electrical department installed a new fire signal system for the city. The central operators trigger bells at City Hall, the Alma Grain and Lumber Co engine room, and the driver’s location, saving valuable seconds for fire crews. Great meetings in St Louis draw many to church
Over 100 people have entered the fellowship of the Christian church in St Louis during meetings led by the Whistons of Bethany Nebraska. More than 75 have been baptized. the rest await this week. The Whistons sing themselves and lead their choir. This is their second great Michigan tour after adding 170 to Traverse City’s Christian Church last November. The meetings continue through next Sunday, likely closing with reception on the 11th.
