Vadito seeks to restore 1937 era schoolhouse center
The Vadito Community Center, built in 1937 as a Works Progress Administration project and once a school, heads a drive to convert the 12,000 square foot building into a multipurpose family resource center. Volunteers have raised funds, with a $25,000 grant used for materials, and a raffle planned for Sunday with prizes including a steer, artwork, and more to support ongoing restoration efforts.
