The Las Posadas procession returned to the Rendon home in Arroyo Hondo on Monday evening with over 80 participants. Max Sanchez played Joseph, Maria Ochoa Mary, and Angel the Christ Child, as burro Sampson was led into the pageant by Rowdy and Mercer Lewis.

Taos man found dead under ice in Rio Chiquito
Taos County Sheriff Charlie Martinez awaits final autopsy results after a 42 year old Taos resident Chris Parker was found dead under ice in the Rio Chiquito. Preliminary findings indicate hypothermia as the cause. Parker was last seen December 11 and pulled from the river December 13 during a probe of a possible stolen vehicle near Talpa. He was a carpenter and home builder born in Texas.
