Investigators vow to begin a weather hampered NTSB probe into the fatal small plane crash on Frazer Mountain near Taos Ski Valley. Gilbert P. Quintana 43 and David Chism 49 disappeared after takeoff from Taos Municipal Airport at 9 15 am en route to Monte Vista Colorado. The crash near Wheeler Peak ends a planned building project.

Questa men cleared of assault in police officer case

State Overrides Taos on Anansi Charter Denial

Taos County targets unpaid solid-waste fees and liens
Taos County moves to collect nearly 1.6 million dollars in delinquent solid-waste charges from about 7 000 residents. An amnesty runs until January 31 2001 waiving penalties for payments during that period. Starting April 1 liens will be filed on delinquent real estate to secure owed funds.
