Winds up to 60 mph flared in Flagstaff and forests and lines were down in New York and Pennsylvania. Severe weather spreads into the Great Lakes and Northern Plains with heavy rain in New England and continued Pacific Northwest showers. Temperatures vary from 23 to 106 degrees across the continental United States.
