Tornado Devastation Hits Central New York Towns
Severe winds and hail devastated parts of Oswego, Onondaga, Cayuga, and Oneida counties. One rider died, a motorcyclist was hurt, and hundreds of homes were damaged or destroyed. Officials reported 6,080 to 9,000 power outages and widespread property loss across Clay, Boonville, Phoenix, and surrounding towns.
