Housing market mortgage rates slip in national weekly averages
National rates for the week ending Friday show 30 year mortgages at 7.14 percent, down from 7.20 percent last week and 8.22 percent a year ago. One year adjustable loans read 5.82 percent, slightly below 5.85 percent prior week and far lower than 7.27 percent a year ago.
