In Tallahassee Florida a 73 year old woman Marga ret Hargrove saved her 9 month old Scottish terrier Alex by biting the attacking pit bull on the neck after the pit bull clamped its jaws on the terrier. The dog released, a neighbor with a baseball bat chased the pit bull away. Hargrove required stitches in her arm and her terrier also needed stitches and had a bruised eye. The woman said two minutes more could have cost her dog its life.
