Firefighter rescues toddler on ledge during LA hotel blaze
In Los Angeles last night a firefighter with 18 years of service reached through a hotel room window to save 1-year-old Elizabeth Foster, carrying her in his jacket as mother Helen Foster and grandmother Violet Brown stepped along a 2-foot ledge to a roof. The blaze on the second floor caused light injuries to twelve residents and smoke-filled the building amid heat and winds.
