Daniel Jackson swept the Oswego Democratic City Committee endorsement after rivals withdrew, pledging to push economic development with Oswego Port Authority and Oswego County Inc. Teen Drowns At Lake Near Williamstown Oswego County
A 16 year old Oneida County teen, Brian K LaValley, drowned at Kasoag Lake near Williamstown while swimming with his brother and step brother. Firefighters and a bystander helped in the rescue attempt but he was underwater for over 30 minutes and was pronounced dead at Syracuse University Hospital. The death appears accidental and autopsy plans are undecided as investigators continue.
