Hot and humid air will invade the Finger Lakes region over the next few days. Expect fog tonight and a possible shower or thunderstorm Tuesday afternoon. It will be hot and humid Wednesday Thursday and Friday with a potential thunderstorm late each day.
As remnants of Tropical Storm Allison flood the South more than an inch of rain was expected in parts of Louisiana Mississippi Alabama Georgia and Florida by evening with scattered flooding in the Lower Mississippi Valley. Severe storms and tornado risk loomed in the Midwest Upper Mississippi Valley western Great Lakes and northern Plains while Houston eyed road reopenings as floodwaters receded after weekend deluge that killed 18 and caused about 1 billion in damage.
Oneida Onondaga Lakes: winds south to southwest 10 to 15 knots tomorrow with reduced path visibility. Lake Ontario: south winds 10 to 20 knots tomorrow with 1 to 3 foot waves and reduced visibility in showers. Inger Lakes: southwest winds 10 to 15 knots tomorrow with visibility reduced during showers.
