McVeigh Executed by Injection in Terre Haute

Timothy McVeigh, 33, was executed by lethal injection today in Terre Haute, first federal prisoner put to death in 38 years. Victims and survivors watched a closed circuit feed as McVeigh appeared pale, showed no remorse, and cited the Invictus poem before dying at 8:14 a.m. EDT.
