Walsh thanks Buckley for defense of GE jobs
Rep William F Walsh thanks Sen James L Buckley for opposing an amendment that would cut into GE Electronics Division employment, calling Buckley’s vote a defense of 1000 Syracuse area jobs. The move aimed to preserve funding support for a Site defense system and related allocations in the 1976 military procurement bill.
